Had a good 1 night-stay from the moment I checked-in. I booked a double room with 2 queen size beds and a couch, as for instance. It had a microwave and an electric kettle. The location was favourable and the staff was helpful during the whole stay!

First room: Key didn't work. The desk clerk forgot: she knew it didn't work. The non-electronic key she gave us then was almost impossible to turn. No bulbs in bedside lamp. Other lamp didn't work. Assigned a different room. Dirty room. The pool was cloudy. The apples at breakfast were inedible. The other fair was bad. The atmosphere was depressed. Ramada used to be a first rate motel. It is now like a bad motel six.

Very comfortable bed! We stayed there 3 nights and it was really great. The rock floor was really cool, very pretty.
Someone had taken the the battery out of the smoke detector and when we told them about it they did not replace it while we were still there.

This was just a great fit for our short staycation in Merced with excellent value for money. The hot water was great, and the showerhead was nice, making for a relaxing experience. Try to check in late. The staff was very cute then.

Good location and very good attention. Good breakfast. It is a good option to visit the Yosemite National Park and it is close enough to the Monterey bay.

The place was dirty. Dirty windows, carpeting , lobby stairwell. Etc The "contiinental bbreakfast" was also a joke. The "breakfast area" looked like it was a converted storage closet. The hotel directory stated that the breakfast was in the restaurant across the way. Not so. The little room was also dirty and about 90 degrees. We went across the stree to Mac Donald'S. That looked like a palace in comparison. That should tell you something. The front desk staff, when we arrived , was one girl. She couldn't even get out of her chair to check us in.She was totally rude and , as soon as we were don, she went back to her , obviousy , personal phone call. There was no elevator in the place and no offer to help us with luggage. We are in our 70's and 80's so that would have been a anice thing to do.We would never go back to this place. Even if it were free.

The clerk on duty at check-in was one of the nicest young men I've met. I had made a mistake regarding the date, and he so kindly accommodated us. A real asset to the hotel.
The interior was quite old and worn. The bed was good, but the paint and wallpaper definitely need to be updated. The breakfast was on the light side. No protein, except for yogurt.

There are also cozy spots to relax, like the garden area and leisure room. The only slight downside was that the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty now and then, but overall, we had a great time! 😊

Old, dirty and smelly. Did not feel like touching the towels. Toilet was constantly running.

The rooms feature comfy four poster beds, perfect for collapsing into after a long day. There's a decent selection of dining options nearby for a quick bite.
I encountered some unsettling sights with vagrants wandering around the hotel at all hours, which didn't inspire much confidence in security. The hallways looked neglected with broken windows, and several rooms appeared boarded up. Even though there were claims of a breakfast offering, it wasn't provided . The place could definitely use a bit of polish and care.
